GURDWARA SRI TAPIANA SAHIB, GHUMAN
Bhagat Namdev Ji was born to Mata Goni Bai and Father Dama Seth in 1270. Bhagat Namdev ji spent his child hood in the village Narsi Namdev, Maharasthtra. Preaching the truth of life Bhagat Ji reached village Ghumaan, Distt Gurdaspur via Gwalior, Mathura, Banaras, delhi etc. Bhagat Ji meditated in the village Ghuman and nearby area for 18 years. One day Bhagat ji was in meditation when pandit keshodas was suffering from leprosy came here. There was blood flowing from his body, and he was so much in pain that he was thinking of suicide. When pandit told Bhagat Ji about his problem, Bhagat asked him to take a dip in water pond near by. By doing so keshodas was fully cured. After this Pandit fell on Bhagat Ji's feet. That water pond is srovar now.
