GURDWARA SRI SOHIANA SAHIB is situated in Village Sohiana, Distt Barnala. SRI GURU TEGBAHADUR SAHIB JI came here from Handyaya via Dhaula. When GURU SAHIB reached Dhaula, Horse didnt entred in Dhaula village, GURU SAHIB left horse free and horse himslef came towards village sohiana. GURU SAHIB stopped here outside the village Sohiana near water. GURU SAHIB tied his horse with a Kareer and Jand tree. Kareer tree is till preserved in the Gurudwara Sahib. GURU SAHIB spent afternoon here. GURU SAHIB asked people about village name, and people told it was Sohiwal or Mohiwal. GURU SAHIB uttered "na sohi na mohi, eh hosi thehi thehi. ethe hosi mirgaa di thehi" After some time this village was ruined by Ahamad Shah Abdalis attacks.
