GURDWARA SRI THADA SAHIB is situated in Amritsar City. Situated on back side of SRI AKAL TAKHAT SAHIB, This place marks where SRI GURU TEGBAHADUR SAHIB JI camped while on his visit to SRI HARIMANDIR SAHIB. GURU SAHIB had come on a visit to the Harimandar Sahib, Amritsar, from Baba Bakala. But the masands shut the doors against him. GURU SAHIB sat outside the Harimandir sahib at this place, for some time and departed saying "The masands of Amritsar are burning with die fire of ambition,". From there GURU SAHIB went to GURDWARA SRI DAMDAMA SAHIB and took rest for a night.
