GURDWARA SRI GURU ARJAN DEV JI SAHIB is situated in village Malu Nangal, Distt Amritsar SRI GURU ARJAN DEV JI visited this place while going to GURU KE BAAG along with Raja Hari Sen of Suket Mandi. In those days this village was known as Kho Nangal and belonged to Lile Pathan's. They were very proud of their caste and presumed themselves as the bravest among pathan's. GURU SAHIB asked his Singhs for water. Singhs visited the well nearby and fetched the water. By the time pathans reached here and damaged the pitcher of water with his stick and said disrespecting words for GURU SAHIB. GURU SAHIB asked his singhs to come back and left for further. While going GURU SAHIB said "Jange Lile Aunge gile". After some time Bhai Malu from Jagdev Kalan attacked this village and destroyed the whole village. With GURU SAHIBS blessing he started a new village which was known after his name Malu Nangal.
