| GURDWARA DAMDAMA SAHIB is situated in the Amritsar City. Situated in Guru Tegbahadur Nagar, Amritsar this place is visited by SRI GURU TEGBAHADUR SAHIB. GURU SAHIB had come on a visit to the Harimandar Sahib, Amritsar, from Baba Bakala. But the masands shut the doors against him. GURU SAHIB sat outside the Harimandir sahib (GURDWARA SRI THARA SAHIB, Situated on the Back side of Akal Takhat Sahib) for some time and departed saying "The masands of Amritsar are burning with die fire of ambition,". From there GURU SAHIB came here and took rest for a night. Next day GURU SAHIB left further and stayed at GURDWARA SRI GURIANA SAHIB, From there Mai Haro Ji invited GURU SAHIB to her house. Accpeting her invitation GURU SAHIB stayed at Mai Haro's House for 17 days at village Valla.
