GURUDWARA SHRI BADI SANGAT PATSHAHI DASVIN SAHIB is situated in Burhanpur city of Madhya Pradesh.
SHRI GURU GOBIND SINGH JI stopped here while moving towards Nanded. Along with GURU SAHIB was BadhShah Bahadur Shah. GURU SAHIB came here through Agra, Chittorhgarh and Ujjain. In those days a Old Sadhu Jeewan Das was living here on the bank of River Tapti. When SHRI GURU TEGBAHADUR SAHIB JI went to Assam, He was along with GURU SAHIB. When some one told him that a Mahapurakh named SHRI GURU GOBIND SINGH JI has come. Listening to the name he ran barefoot. When GURU SAHIB came to know that his disciple is coming, he also stood up from his seat. Jogi came and fell on the feet of GURU SAHIB. GURU SAHIB took him to the diwan. Sangat of Burhanpur was surprised to see this. They though he (GURU SAHIB) might be a Mahapurakh thats why people are coming for his darshans. GURU SAHIB set jogi free from cycle of life and death. GURU SAHIB stopped here for some long time. From here Badhshah went to Nagpur. And GURU SAHIB moved towards Nanded Sahib. Here an Old saroop of SHRI GURU GRANTH SAHIB JI is also preserved on which there is stamp of SHRI GURU GOBIND SINGH JI. Sangat can have darshan of Beed Sahib on Sangrand Day and on GURUPURAB DAYS.
