GURDWARA SRI BADSHAHI BAAG SAHIB IS situated in the AMBALA CITY. Its situated on the Hisar Road. SRI GURU GOBIND SINGH JI along with his MAMA JI Sri Kirpal Chand ji. GURU SAHIB came to this place on hunting trip on his Horse. GURU SAHIB was only of Eight years at that time and was having white hawk (BAAZ ). Peer Amir Deen was present in the Baag with his Hawk. The Baag belonged to Amir Deen. On seeing white hawk in GURU SAHIBS hand, Amir Deen started thinking of owing it. He challenged GURU SAHIB for fight between the hawks. GURU SAHIB realising his Intentions, offered the fight between His Hawk and Sparrows. Amir Deen laughed and said sparrow to be the food of Hawk. But GURU SAHIB repeated his words. Then Amir Deen asked ok where are your sparrows, GURU SAHIB pointed towards the two Sparrows that were sitting on the tree. With Blessing of GURU SAHIB sparrows fought bravely and killed the Hawk. The hawk fell down at about a kilometer away from the Baag. GURDWARA SRI GOBINDPURA is situated on that place. Then GURU SAHIB Said this words
"Chirion se main baaz laaraaoon, tabe Gobind Singh naam Kahaoon
Sawa Lakh se ek laraaoon, tabe gobind singh naam kahaoon"
